While some 'green' web hosting services only offset the electricity used to run their servers, Get Green utilizes renewable energy to power our servers. Through the use of renewable energy not only are we able to power our servers, but we are able to cool them as well. That represents a big difference as servers generate a lot of heat. For every watt of electricity that a server uses, 1 to 2 watts of electricity are typically required to cool it.


Essentially, Get Green is Investing in about twice as much renewable energy, on a per server basis, as other so-called 'green hosts'.

Our commitment to going green extends beyond our own company and the customers we serve.
